"It is not whether you win or lose but how you play the game…" these words have been uttered for centuries as a refrain for fair play and good sportsman-
ship. Ideals which stand firmly in opposition to the practice of doping, a
worldwide problem, which is not only illegal but also dangerous. In
Barbados the National Anti-Doping Commission (NADC) as a body
serves to ensure that "the game", whatever it may be, is played fairly,
by working to eradicate the use of banned substances from the
